For more than 50 years, the nonprofit organization American Student Assistance has helped students successfully finance their higher education by focusing on the student side of the equation. As the student debt crisis topped $1 trillion, they asked us to focus on the business side and make a business case for colleges and universities to provide ASA’s SALT program to their students. Selling their product to schools was a first for ASA, as well as the most proactive strategy to get ahead of the growing debt epidemic.
